Monet's making a new sound..

Hi all,

most of you by now probably know I brought home a new kitty, and Monet hasn't been very happy with it.

This morning, he seemed OK with Picasso's scent on me, letting me pet and kiss him. He's back to his usual self for the time being (Except when I go into the bathroom to check on Picasso, he then growl when he sees her)

Now when I do pet him, or approach, he'd make a weird sound. Not quite meowing.. sounds almost like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ljmjmvMTWyY

He made this noise once or twice before when playing, but it was a LONG time ago. Is it because he still smells Picasso's scent and he's unsure? Is it still some sort of warning? Or is it going to be a new habit? I noticed it yesterday evening.

My Babies always do that when they see a squirrel or some other kind of animal outside the window..... I am not sure what it would mean in relation to the new kitty, though.....

maybe he thinks she's a squirrel? lol. He only does it when I pet him or approach to pet him.. sometimes he goes into a playful mood after.
