Usually one of the girls is on the back of the sofa, but rarely both, and even more rarely, face to face. Even though BF and I were waiting for it, this actually didn't end in any smacking, which was nice.



Yeah, yeah, we're chilling next to each other, get over it!


I'm not gonna smack her, mom, you can stop with the camera now...

Well, no, they usually aren't when they're that close. In fact, pretty much anytime they interact, it's fighting/wrestling. And I still don't know if it's play fighting or mean fighting. Is there a difference? Sometimes there's lots of hissing and horrible noises, which is when I clap to break it up, but other times they just chase/smack/tumble with no noises, and I'll just let them go at it, because I figure if someone is actually hurt, they'll scream.

Who knows.. I'm just glad they are much more affectionate towards us than they are towards each other!!

Are their paws touching?

I cannot figure out either when mine are wrestling playfully and when they are fighting Sometimes it's obvious but other times I cannot make sense of what they are up to

Too cute! Don't you wish you could read their minds? They don't look overly happy about lying there next to each other, but it's not like they're being forced to...

I think they were waiting each other out to see who would prevail!

They look like they are holding paws!

I still don't have any kitty piles happening here, not even with Spencer and Katie who seem perfectly content to sleep in their own special hidy spots.

Abby will let them sleep near her. In fact yesterday all 3 were sleeping on the table. But while she lets them sleep near, there is no touching allowed!

I really like those pictures! But I think you'd better be on the look out....they definitely look like they're figuring something out. And it's not a good something! I wouldn't worry too much about the fighting unless you think one of them is getting hurt. While they don't seem to be bestest friends, I do think they needed each other.

They're both beautiful cats.
