Chubbs Sleeps in the Middle of a Party!?

Howdy,

How, and why, does my cat curl up and take a nap with massive amounts of activity. People are talking, laughing, and screeching; music is blasting, the tv is blaring--and Chubbs is curled up taking a nap.

Not in a secluded corner; on the chair where he usually sleeps,

How is this possible? How can a cat sleep through a party when there's enough noise to wake the dead?

My explanation would be, he doesn't feel threatened by anything that's going on and so he feels it's perfectly safe for him to curl up in his usual chair and go to sleep. Obviously, noise doesn't bother him.

Maybe he's the kind of cat who likes a ruckus? I bet he's the life of the party when he's awake!

Lol, my cat is the same way. When I'm on my computer/watching tv when I get home, he's asleep like a rock. And then when it gets late and I put my stuff away and it gets quiet, he wakes up and keeps me up all night... X__X

you could set off a bomb next to my piper and would not bother her LOL...
