It seems my suspisions may have been right about the seller of the cat tree I was going to buy on ebay. They've been suspended by ebay! Thank God I had that weird feeling in my gut and didn't go through with it!

Well the user is suspended so they aren't allowed to sell anymore. I guess they could try to re-register as a different user maybe. I posted a picture of it awhile back. Not sure if it is still around. But I became suspicious for a couple of reasons. First, the seller didn't have any feedback and no sales to that point. Then I noticed there was another seller with the same exact picture of the same exact tree. Lastly, I emailed the seller and it took forever for them to respond. I was asking why the shipping was so high. When they finally emailed me back the email was very cryptic and unprofessional. No caps, no punctuation, very abrupt and vague, bad grammer etc. I'll see if I can find the thread where I posted a picture.

Good luck Sicy!

Kiwideus, here's a picture of the tree I "won" If you see this picture beware! Although I just looked through everything and couldn't find it. There aren't that many good, lower priced ones on there right now it seems!

Just set a price in your head that you feel is fair and your max...one can get caught up in the bidding
trust me ...I may have "won" the bid on that one piece I was referring to having been in a bidding war for, and I love it, but I did end up paying at that time, the highest price ever for that particular piece!

Just a heads up, for our anniversary special here on TCS we are giving away 15 CD's on how to build your own cat tree. It won't be till next month to learn the details, but if you can wait, who knows? You might just win!
No questions to answer, no game to play- just a straight email sent in

I am making plans for my cat tree today.. actually I started last night.. Luckily my bf works at a home improvement store so he's gonna get what i need.. and the guy that does computerized home project layouts there just built his cat a cat tree so he's supposed to make me a cat tree layout on the computer. I don't know how well it'll turn out, but apparently it's sposed to breakdown everything I'd need, from nails/screw to glue to how much carpet, whatever.. It probably won't work and I'll end up with a screwed up cat tree lol, but I'll be making it from the heart

Hi there - I looked at the price of cat trees and decided to make my own. Got some wood and leftover carpet from a friend - all I bought was brackets and screws. I had a heavy duty stapler and nails. My cat loves it
