If anyone is familiar with the care and feeding of the feral cats in Asbury Park, NJ please pm me. I will be visiting Ocean City, NJ and Asbury Park, NJ late September and would like to meet with a volunteer to learn more about how they do what they do. (I feed a feral/stray/dumped cat colony in front of my condo.)
Thanks.

You could PM LDG or just wait until she sees this thread, I know she lives in NJ, she most likely will be familiar with these places
..... Thanks for caring about the ferals

Unfortunately, I don't. I don't really know any rescue orgs.
We got involved in TNR because no one would help us. We just started doing it on our own.

A LOT of groups have popped up over the past decade since we got involved, and our vet introduced us to a great local foster network (that got a TNR budget passed in their town near here!
).

But especially since Gary became so ill, we just TNR the cats that show up here now, rather than working all over the place like we used to (our budget also dramatically impacted LOL). Even then - it was more just local people we worked with rather than orgs. I'm really well networked when it comes to advocacy/research stuff, but rescue, not much at all.

Cindy, just call them! When Gary and I have helped people not in our location, we just pick up the phone.
If they're worth visiting, they'll be happy to chat, I'm sure!
