Soulistic..

Since Soulistic is the only brand Monet would eat that's healthy (Friskies is the other brand.. ew).. and adding another mouth to feed would mean 2 cans a day, and it will get pretty pricey fast! I did the math.. before taxes, it's nearly $87 a month, ouch!

Is Petco the only provider of this food? Any one have any ideas where I can find them for cheaper? Amazon.com is pretty much the same price ($1.39 a 5.5 oz can), and I never, ever see them on sale. I check every sunday

Or does anyone have any idea of healthy food that's the same, or very close to Soulistic? Meaning, have the actual food strips/chunks inside where even *I* want to eat it?

Something that Petco may carry since its the closest store near me?

Edit: Petco.com has them on sale, plus free shipping with promo code julyfs49. Im going to order a month's worth for now and continue to hunt for them cheaper.

If all else fails. I'll have to find a cheaper, healthy brand for Picasso and it'd be a guarantee that Monet wouldn't eat her food!

Soulistic is Petco's Brand food and yes, Petco is the only place it is sold. I buy it on line with their free shipping deals.

I have only one cat on the Soulistic Good Karma chicken in gravy. he eats about
1 1/3 (5.5 oz)cans a day, or one can and a kibble snack. The Soulistic is relatively low in calories and 5.5 oz can of the chicken is 137 calories.

Tolly self regulates himself to 180 calories a day. It's uncanny, actually.

Dear Karen,

Thank you for the email to Soulistic and support of our products. We are
excited to hear that your cat loves our food! Soulistic is a brand that is
exclusive to Petco. It is also a "house" brand to Petco, and together we
developed Soulistic. We do have a solution if you would like other sources
for our pet food.
We have a sister brand called Weruva (www.weruva.com), and another sister
brand called Best Feline Friend (BFF). Please visit www.weruva.com to
search for locations of stores local to you where our Weurva and BFF
products can be found.

Thank you again for contacting us and please let us know if you have further
questions.

Thanks for the info! Yeah, I just found out here the other day that Soulistic is a PetCo brand. And like Monet, Holland will only eat Soulistic or Friskies (were they separated at birth? ), and - NO PATE!!! I tend to shop at PetCo most often because it's closest to my house, but it's good to have info on the sister brands.

for people who feed their cats soulistic, how much does your cat eat a day? I am just trying to figure out how much to feed my cats but I don't want them to get fat. Thanks.

Russian, I feed my cats 1 5.5oz can a day each.. sometimes less if I see they're leaving leftovers of a certain flavor.

Cats all have different sizes and activity levels, so you should really talk with your vet about how much to feed. Holland weighs around 8 pounds, and she gets about 5 oz of wet food and 1/4 cup of dry food a day.

The cat food should have a guide so you can get an idea of what to feed... I think it's around 1 oz. per day for each pound the cat weighs, but don't quote me on that!

*tries to think what Petco has*

I think Petco carries Wellness in flavors with chunks and strips in them now, but they are only the tiny 3oz cans.

If you have a Petsmart, they carry Simply Nourish, which Literally looks like chicken soup minus the noodles. It smells amazing tantalizing... <___< lol

You can try petfooddirect.com
If you order during a sale and then add on the highest coupon you can find 15%+, you should be able to get it for cheaper.

RussianBluea&t, my cat is 16lbs and needs only 5.5oz to maintain weight.

Weruva makes Soulistic; Weruva is more expensive with slightly better ingredients.
Trader Joe's wet is excellent quality and a 5 oz can is around 50 cents--pity Ritz would never touch the stuff.
