So we were all set with carrier, water, kitty snacks and adoption fee. My phone rings and the rescue lady was once again rushing our little girl to the vet *sigh*

She was terribly concerned about the loose stool and she thought the kitten might be dehydrated again. She called me a couple of hours later and the vet said the kitten was fine, they did change her medication for the parasites. She is on a 7 day course of Metronidazole.

This is the third time we have tried to go pick her up and Im feeling so bad for the little thing. Im just wondering and hoping that she can make a full recovery soon. I know this is hard on tiny bodies.

I have already decided that no matter what this little girl is going to be ours. She is toughing it out and deserves a home where she will be spoiled and pampered. I just wish it was going to be sooner rather than later that she was home with us.

Please send her good vibes everyone. I believe my daughter is naming her Gnochi

Bless you for still wanting to adopt the kitty, after all she's been through! Many people wouldn't bother if the cat's been sick like this.

Many good vibes for her health and her forever home with you!

I know many people would have bailed on the adoption after finding out she has coccidia and giardia(sp) both. I made a commitment and I intend to stick it out. My only concern was for my cats already here at home. After talking to my vet those fears have been laid to rest.

I get daily updates from her foster mom and she is eating well and playing hard like a kitten should. She just wants her to start putting on some weight.
She is such a cute little thing, she is a siamese mix, blue points, blue eyes

When she finally manages to make it home, I will post pics!!!

I am sure you'll be rewarded greatly when she finally comes home. When we got Hobbes and he had so many health issues, we were advised by some (not in TCS of course - here I found nothing but support) to return him. It's cost us money, but adopting Hobbes was one of the best things we ever did. I am sure you'll feel the same when she curls in your arms.
