Morning all and TGIF!


Not a bad start to the day! It's beautiful out. Mom just came to give me $85 she made last night by selling earrings I made where she works. I sell them for only $5 a pair, so that's pretty good for one night! Any money I make off them goes to help provide for the fosters, so it's for a good cause.

Mom wants to go to psychic fair that's in town after work today. It's here every year and we've never gone, but I think it would be fun. Not sure if I'll have a reading yet or not as they can be pretty pricey and I'm afraid of being scammed. I'm sure there are real psychics out there, but my luck I'd get the dud.

Tomorrow we'll probably go to the sand sculpture contest at New River Beach. There have been some REALLY cool sculptures in previous years, so I'll try to get some pics. Hope you all have a great weekend!

Morning Friends!

Kailie, earrings? You make and sell earrings? And I didn't know that? Do you have pictures? A website?

Years and years ago, my mom, my sister and I went to an old woman who told fortunes by cards. She scared the crap out of me with things she said....I always wondered how people knew stuff like that. Some of this was very private stuff that nobody else knew. But she picked it out of me, I guess. It was weird.

Our church's chicken BBQ is Saturday, so DH will be getting up early to help with the grilling. I love our church's chicken BBQ dinner; it's just delicious. Sometimes DH and I will take our dinners and go someplace for a nice hike, followed by eating our meals. Tomorrow, since he's helping out, we'll stay at home.

And while he's doing that, I'm going to be cleaning house. And picking some veggies! We have cucumbers ready! And some zucchini! Can you tell I'm excited?!

I second the request for earring pictures

Funny thing about psychics, I was told by 3 separate people that they saw me with child in the next 6 months...almost 2 years later I'm still without that child and we've been actually trying (they didn't know that though).

See that's just it, it's so hard to know who's legit and who isn't, so we're going to go and see how we feel.

As for the earrings, I'm going to set up an Etsy account soon I think guys, so I'll keep you all updated.

Morning... For some reason I got up around 7AM with BF to watch the NASA channel.... over an hour BEFORE the last shuttle launch. Just the boring stuff, not even much commentary. He left for work a bit ago so he could at least watch it at work, and I'm STILL watching it! Should be soon now though.

It's almost 70, humid, sunny... going up to 79. A bit cooler than the past week.

I have some chores to do today I guess, and the roof guy is coming at 6PM to sort out the price and details for a new roof! We have old ugly old wood shake that is old and needs to be replaced so the attic won't have lots of gaps and holes for critters to come in. Did I mention the roof is old? Anyway it'll be good to have a nice new roof soon.

Nice earrings, Kailie! I don't wear dangly ones, but they are pretty! I always wanted to learn how to make jewelry with beads and stuff. All I can do is make a string of beads and somehow tie it together for a long necklace. I don't know how to use findings and clasps and whatever.

Oh my those are pretty. Sadly, toddler + dangling earrings = bad news for my ears lol.

Well I'm glad you guys are having a great day....mine sucks

Went to the dentist, had a filling and learnt that I need a root canal and all 4 wisdom teeth pulled, guy came to look at our chimney and it's going to cost $1800.00 to repair

oday's my 60TH Birthday! We went out for Breakfast, going out to a late lunch and then to a Book Store, then I'll come home and open my presents.

Kailie, your earrings are very pretty! I love dangling earrings. I think you could charge more for them.

Today I am sitting on my mom's hospital room posting. She was in a car accident. She broke a vertebrae and is in a brace. No surgery as of yet. Hopefully she will heal on her own . Staying up north for another day then head home. I am worried about my cats. I also have two fosters now. My daughter is caring for everyone. Perla and Pipsqueak get very distressed when I leave. And Perla doesn't eat. My daughter will call me soon and give me a report. I know the cats will be fine, I just hate leaving them. .

The weather up north WI is very nice and about 78 degrees. Tonight when we get back to my dads house, we might let the dogs go for a swim in the lake, especially Henry. He loves the water.
