9 Years! Happy Gotcha Day Lazlo!

Oh MY does time fly!

Lazlo was our first indoor-only kitty. His litter was the reason I found TCS! In the end, we adopted four of the five (Lazlo, Sheldon, Spooky & Tuxedo), and they all came inside over a one-year period.

But Lazlo is our "Number One Son."

Unfortunately, it looks like he may have the same autoimmune problem Tuxie does - only Lazlo's anemia started a few weeks/month ago, and we've been managing Tuxie's for... over 7 years now.

Lazlo looks super skinny to us (combination of switching to an all wet diet from free feeding, and problems with vomiting and his appetite), but two vets have now assured us he's a healthy weight.

Our "baby" boy on his 9th Gotcha Day!







Last year's thread has a bunch of "growing up" pictures. Happy 8th (!!!) Gotcha Day Lazlo!

HAPPY 9th GoTTcha Day Lazlo!!!!!!!! He is adorable! I'm so sorry he has anemia just like Tuxie, at least you know what you are dealing with and you can help him. I hope he gets better and eats more. HUgs to him and the rest of the kitties

I don't believe it. It can't be 9 years! All of our cats are still kittens. And since you found TCS not long after I did that means Lazlo can't be more than 9 months old. Maybe 1 year.

Heidi - this always makes me laugh! When I first joined TCS, Trent and Ophelia were already several years old, and I wondered what it would be like to have been with our kitties for any length of time!

My how that "nine months" has flown!
