Hi all!

Another kitten adoption today!

Little Owen is going home, which leaves his brother, Beau & mama Portia from this batch. Persistence will pay off.

It's a gorgeous day here so hopefully we'll get out for a nice walk this evening!

Morning... it's a hot one today! I wish we had some ceiling fans in the house. There's one in the kitchen, but I don't want to hang in the kitchen all day. I guess I'll dig out the box fan. I shouldn't complain though, I am really happy it's in the 80s finally for the past week instead of low 70s. It actually feels like summer!!

So today is going to be a bit of a lazy day, not doing any outside work, or much inside work either besides laundry. I at least have to wash sheets. Other than that, just job searching and reading and whatnot.

YAY Kailie - another kitten to a good home

I don't have good news to report today on our thread

. My mom had a car accident yesterday and is in a hospital with a fractured vertebrae. I posted a thread asking for prayers for my mom. So, today I have been frantically calling everyone, emailing people and on the phone with my dad about what is going on. I am heading up to see mom tomorrow morning for a couple of days. She won't need surgery yet, thank goodness. I HATE to leave my cats, though. makes me sad

.... My daughter will care for them for a couple of days. I know Perla won't be happy at all about my departure. She is even a bit nervous when my daughter is home. I hope she eats...... I will try to report from my dad's.

Tonight, I had a nice play session with my cats. Told them that I had to go for a couple of days. I am not sure they listened
