*I want to start w/ saying I know the overwhelming response will be get this kitten to the vet. Until about an hour ago we were not going to be able to do that til next week on payday but we have since decided to take out a payday loan if need be tomorrow to get this kitten to the vet*

3 weeks ago we took in 3, 2 week old orphaned kittens. We bottled fed and stimulated them to use the bathroom. They were growing well, we tracked their growth and feedings. 2 weeks ago the grey one started acting weird. He didn't poop for two days. The morning of the third day he was lethargic and sleeping way more then normal. Around noon that day we decided we needed to rush him to the vet. The vet dewormed him and gave us some medicine to help him poop. The vet said his lungs were clear and good and seemed in fine health aside from the way he was acting that day. Unfortunately he was also trying to warn me that orphaned kittens sometimes just get sick and kittens are unpredictable. I have never raised orphan kittens before so I was just positive the deworming would help and didn't think anything of his chat about orphaned kittens.
The grey kitten had a great recovery. We have since trained them to use the litterbox, and have started them on canned food. Just yesterday I started trying to wean them off the bottle.
The grey kitten had a visit with his new mom/dad yesterday and was pretty quiet, and sleepy. I didn't think much of it, he has always been the more calm kitten. He is now 5 weeks old. Today the same, sleepy calm kitten. He was eating a little less, but sometimes he wants a bottle more then wet food and vice versa.

Well he hasn't been eating since this morning. When my husband got home he noticed the kitten would just lay against him and not move. He was breathing heavy and walking oddly. Husband hasn't seen him poop since Sunday...I thought he did yesterday but am not sure if it was actually yesterday or sunday. I do remember it being a hard dark poop. He has been on liquid pre mix kitten formula, and canned friskies cat food.
His symptoms include~no appetite, not pooping, concentrated urine, lethargic, walks as if he is drunk, seeming to leak fluid from his nose. The urine is because he is dehydrated I am sure. We just force fed him some babyfood, some water, and some milk. We have also given him a little karo syrup in the formula to try and get him to poop.

Apparently my husband seems to think it might be an upper respiratory infection due to the leakage from his nose...we are kinda hoping for thsat because it would typically mean antibiotics and a better chance for him (and our finances sadly~sadly that the finances have to come into play...)

Anyway if anyone has any advice, vibes, experience w/ these symptoms please let me know! We are continuing to get some food/water into him, and trying to stimulate him to use the bathroom. He runs to the litterbox and cries as he does like he needs to go but when he gets in there he just lays down.

Just lots of vibes - you've already got all the love and caring the kitten could need and I hope he makes it.
