New member with a tortie kitten!

Hi! My name is Megan and I'm the new mom of Moon, my adorable tortie kitten girl. She was born April 21. I just wanted to introduce ourselves. Nice to meet you all!

Thank you for the warm welcome! Moon and I are very happy together. She's so adorable, and I'm learning all about "Tortitude." I was skeptical at first, but I have to admit, she does have a hilariously over the top personality. She's a love bug, she purrs like a motor all the time, she's insanely playful... and she's so talkative! She makes these funny angry sounds when she's playing by herself, and often runs through the house yowling with her tail puffed up. She greets me in the afternoons by doing "Halloween cat"; with her back arched and her tail puffed, bouncing sideways like a wind-up toy, only to leap through the air and attack my ankles. But she always uses "soft paws" and very rarely scratches or bites to the point of pain. She's so gentle!
