After a couple weeks, playing with her a little everyday, Turtle has "allowed" me to teach her to FETCH!!!!!
So my feline alarm clock wakes me up at 3 am this morning with her toy delicately placed on my neck!! Of course I got up, fixed some coffee and for the next 20 minutes we played a fierce game of fetch. She now brings it directly to me and drops it at my feet each time.
This is a little thing, I know, but I'm very proud of my baby and think she's the smartest kitty in the world!!! (second only to ALL of yours)

Awesome!! What a great bonding activity, too!! However, I do think her internal clock needs to be reset.

Three in the morning!!! You sound like me
we wouldn't want to disappoint them
. Turtle is a very smart kitty and once they learn how fun it is to fetch, it is a never ending game, one that I love too

Nuh uh...might give me away!
Oscar gets so proud of himself when he plays fetch, that he starts to drop it further away from you because he looks up and gets excited and needs chin scritches. lol

"I'm gonna get it, gonna get it! GOT IT!" *runs toward mom" "MOMMY!" *drops toy and runs to mom to rub her legs* "Look what I did! I'm a good boy!"

He's just too cute to deny though.
