Teyah has always been a sweet, affectionate, mild mannered cat, right from the time she walked out of the foster room and started headbutting all of the of the other cats.
She knew she belonged here from day one. Never a lap cat, she would always enjoy some petting, but would never compete with the other cats, so if they bullied their way in, she would let them and walk away.
The past couple of months, Teyah has become MY lap cat! She took over my lap as I am typing this, so I have the laptop on the sofa arm beside me.
I love, love, LOVE this, because although she'll seek Dana out for attention, it's my lap she always cuddles up on, purring away.
One thing that has been cracking us up lately though is if she is getting her lovin' from us and any of the other cats but in, she will charge them and smuck them across their head with her paw!
She doesn't hurt them, but she may scare them, and she's certainly been putting them in their place! Seems like Teyah, AKA Tater Tots, has grown a back bone! "MY humans!"

Holland was never much of a lap cat either, but I've been finding some nights, especially when I've been gone most of the day and am working on my laptop, she will wiggle her way onto my lap and start purring... "Here I am, mom! Love me!"
