Morning all and TGIF!

Happy Canada day to all of my fellow Canadians!

I can't believe it's July already though, where did June go?!?

I don't have the day off today like a lot of Canadians, but I will have the US holiday off on Monday. We're not 100% sure what we're doing this weekend yet but we WOULD like to go camping. We'll see though. I'm a little worried about Osiris as he threw up a LOT yesterday and I was afraid he was having another bout of his pancreatitus. He was still eating though and seems absolutely fine today, so I'll be keeping a close eye on him.

We are heading downtown soon to go for breakfast with my aunt and uncle, then hopefully see the Royals!

Morning and Happy Canada Day to our Canadian Friends!

Oh it's Friday, it's Friday! (Wish we had a Happy Dance icon!)

And a 3-day weekend coming up for our Independence Day holiday on Monday.

Going to be busy this weekend with outside chores. We need to finish staining the picnic table and work on landscaping around the pool. We have two landscaped triangles around the pool and we're cleaning them out. I'm looking for a fountain to put in one triangle and will surround that with catmint. The second triangle will be paved and the tiki bar is going there, but we need to move the fence out to make enough room. Lots of things to do.

My in-laws are coming for dinner on Monday. We're just going to have a leisurely meal outside, grilling steaks and my bourbon chicken wings, some baked beans, macaroni salad, and a peanut butter pie (DH's favorite pie). His parents like coming here and spending time in the back yard with us....it's quiet and relaxing. We'll have a good time.

Morning.. Happy Canada Day!

I feel exceptionally good today for some reason, and I like it!

I need to go to Lowe's to get some drain cleaner for the laundry drain, it keeps overflowing. I hate it. There was something else I wanted to get at Lowe's.... I can't think of what it was. Hmm.

I actually don't have anything to do in the garden, so I won't be puttering around out there in the sun.. I could get some cleaning done in the house I guess. But BF is going to be doing a bunch of work in the garage tomorrow, so I might as well save my cleaning for tomorrow.

For the 4th we're going to our friend Scott's annual BBQ bash. It'll be so nice this year, we can ride our bikes the half mile to his house instead of driving and someone being DD or getting the bus! I plan to bring a big jug of lemonade, since we have so many lemons right now. Also, since it's potluck, I'm making veggie lasagna, and using a lot of my cherry tomatoes. Yum.

Very hot today, upper nineties

. Had lot of shopping to get done today. Party tomorrow at my brothers in Chicago. Will be fun. Larry is on his way home early today

. Dinner tonight at our favorite outdoor garden restaurant. But we might choose to eat in because it is so hot. Did get in a workout and bike ride very early today. Hope all of you have a nice rest of your day
