The kids and I are on a schedule. I wake up around 8 every morning and feed them when I get up, get ready for work while they eat, then leave. On my days off the baby, Gnash, doesn't seem to share my desire to sleep in a little. This morning he decided to wake me up by grooming my eyebrows and eyelashes. He's done this a time or two before, always on my days off when I sleep later than he thinks I should.

Just a funny tidbit about my little guy that I thought I would share. He's seven weeks old and extremely impatient.

LOL, Thufir likes to try to wake me up in the morning. He'll jump up on the bed and lick my face. When I pull back the covers, he'll climb under and snuggle up on my shoulder. It doesn't work so well in his case because it's so nice when he cuddles with me, I end up hitting the snooze button because I want to stay in bed and cuddle with him.

Topaz is a light eater.

When it is light, it is time to eat. Anytime past 7am she gets testy and won't stop meowing.

Cats are excellent alarm clocks, but lousy calendars. If you don't want them to wake you up, don't feed them first thing when you get up!

Our kitties USED to be our alarm clocks but now that we have the love birds, they always have us up at the crack of dawn.

Peanut wakes me up at 5:30AM every morning! I don't know how he knows, but he does- and every time he wakes me up the clock reads 5:30 or somewhere very close to it.

I wish he'd let me sleep longer.

((((((. Just for some lovin. Then he curls up around my neck and we fall back asleep. His purring lulls me back. I don't really mind it

Aww, sounds like you guys all have really adorable, fuzzy alarm clocks too! I don't think any of us really mind, do we? I mean, although sometimes I wish Gnash would let me sleep in a little bit, I couldn't really be irritated at such a cute face. I honestly couldn't think of a better way to start my day off.

And @Feralvr, yes, my eyebrows and eyelashes are always meticulously well-groomed thanks to Sir Gnash. And in return, he's always well-fed at precisely eight every morning. He figures its an even exchange.
