Good mornin everyone. Todays question is about technology.

What handheld devices do you have? (ipod/smartphone/Nintendo/ipad/etc.)and do you like what you have? Is there something else you want to get?

I have an older iPod (from like 2006-2007) - It does it's job

BlackBerry Tour smartphone - Also does its job. I like it and as long as it works I'll stick with it. Especially with how Verizon isn't doing it's upgrade deals the same way anymore.

B&N Nook - absolutely love it

DH and I have Droid X phones and we just love them. Our big thing right now is Angry Birds and we are working our way through the various games. We'll lie in bed with our Droids at night and try to beat each other's scores. We text each other numerous times during the day, just to see what the other one is doing and how our day is going. It's a great way to stay in contact with other family members, too; my nieces and nephews all have smartphones and we all text each other. I never, ever thought I'd be interested in a smartphone, but now that we have them, we're very pleased with them.

It's funny because when I first started to seriously consider a Droid, DH kept saying he didn't see the need. But when I decided to buy one (and they were Buy 1 for $149, Get 1 Free plus a $100 rebate on each phone), he didn't want to be left out.
He has often thanked me for talking him into his Droid. We both have unlimited internet and unlimited data. Good because Verizon will be changing their data plans on July 7th, I think. Since we already have it, they won't take it away. At least, not yet.

DH gave me an iPod last summer so that I would have music while I walked. I love my iPod.

I will be asking Santa for a Kindle for Christmas this year. DH has been thinking about asking Santa for a laptop. Santa told him that he has to be an especially good DH this year!

I just got a NEW phone, a Samsung Galaxy Smartphone. It has taken me quite a few days to figure it out. Now, I just love it!!!! It has everything. A little all in one computer. We are going to get rid of our landline at home and just start using our cell phones. Will save us some money each month by doing that. I also have an IPad, that I use at home.

I have a blackberry torch. I like it, but I wish I had got an android phone. They seem to have way better (and free) apps.

I want to get a kobo. I asked my husband for one for my birthday which is coming up.

I'm glad to hear that we're not the only Angry Bird addicts! We have the original Angry Birds, Angry Birds Rio, and Angry Birds Seasons....I'm working my way through the Christmas one now. And working on the Mine and Dine level from the original Angry Birds. I'm trying to get 3 stars for all of the levels, but some of them are difficult.

And I have to update my Picnic one constantly b/c they keep adding new levels.

(I find myself humming the Angry Birds tune from time to time!
)

Tell Dana "Hello!" from another Angry Bird player!

Sounds like me. I only have a simple cell phone for when I am away from home.
(Which isn't much these days.

I have a simple cell phone that I to often forget to take with me every morning! I honestly don't understand the fascination with ipods and smart phones. I find most people who are either listening to their music, some so loud that it is irritating! Or playing games, or reading, to be very rude and completely unaware of their surroundings.

I have two Zunes (the second I won online and is my back-up for when the first one dies), a Nintendo DSi, a laptop (does that count?) and a HTC Evo.

I want a Motorola Xoom so badly. I borrowed one from work for a few days and now I'm so sad without it, lol! My Evo is a lemon, so I may switch to a different phone, either the Evo 3D or the HTC Arrive.
