Nicknames for your pets?

I find myself calling Monet something other than "Monet". The most common name that comes out is "fuzz-butt". And I call him that with love. Others are "Pinky" due to his pink nose and toes and "Handsome".

Do you guys call your pets anything other than their given names?

Yep, all the time. Genever is G-cat, G, Babygirl. Her daddy (BF) calls her Sweetpea and G-cat.

Dorothy is Dot, Polka Dot, Miss Polka Dot, Polka-Polka, Lady (as in Hey Lady!). BF calls her Dottie, Big Fat Baked Bean, sometimes just Baked Bean. He's strange sometimes... haha.

Our kids all have nicknames:

Whisper: Visper, the VisperTitten, StealthKitty (she's all-grey kitty and when she's sitting in the bay window in the living room, you can't see her unless you look very closely....she's a stealth kitty)
Bootser: Bootser, Bootser (always said twice)
BooBoo: BooBoo Bibberman, the BooMeister, Mr. Boo, Buddy-Boo, and lately, Mr. Purrrrrty Boy (he goes crazy when we call him Purrrrty Boy)
Ms. Pepe: the PepperGirl, the PepMonster, Ms. Pep
Amber Louise: Amber the Bamber, Miss Amber
Mollipop: The Most Divine Miss M, Molli, Molli-Stop (when she was a kitten, I said Molli! Stop! a lot ), Miss Pop, Schnooker-Jo, PolliMop....it's a wonder she knows her real name, but she does.

Our Bridge Baby, Banshee, was always known as The Queen B. She became the Queen of the RugCats and all of the other cats (and DH and me, too) knew that her word was law. And I'm serious about. We always said that she ruled with a velvet paw.

lol, cute nicknames! I love the variations of the given names.

Oh, I also call Monet "Mon-Net" instead of the real pronounciation (Moe-Nay). Thanks to my father, lol

Every once in a while I wonder why I never picked up Holly as a nickname for Holland... I just never did. When I first adopted her I joked with her that I should have changed her name to Heidi since she hid from me all the time.

Cutie-booty and Fluffy, usually in a soft effeminate voice... but not when company is over. I don't want my friends to get the wrong impression and try hooking me up with guys they know.

We call them anything we feel like really but the most common are:

Calvin: Calvie, Stinkyass (for obvious reasons not so much anymore but when he 1st came and had trouble with dry food), Puchku-baby (Puchku ~pronounced pooch-koo~ is a loving way of calling someone tiny in my Native language - my sister started it and we picked it up - though he is in no way tiny anymore), Fuzzy ear

Hobbes: Hobbsie Kobbsie is what we usually call him. Also as a variation Hobbsity Kobbsity. He is also my Little Boy and Nippity Master (since he nips to show love) Also Dushtu-pushtu (a loving way of calling someone naughty in my native language).

Oh yeah, BF also calls both cats Buggerlugs a lot too. I always thought he was saying Bugalugs, until one time I typed it for some reason, maybe in an email, and he laughed and told me it was bugger, not buga. Anyway, he calls them that probably more than anything else. Including real names!

The others:

Winchester: Big Boy, Lover Boy, Evil Knevil (Evil for short).

Samurai: Little Man, Rotten Egg, Con-Man or Con-Artist.

BlackJack: Spook, Cracker Jack, Bird-Brain, Goofball, Loony Tune.

Gabriel: Nubs or Nubbins, Grumpy Old Man.

Spencer: Forest Gump, Half-Baked.

Salem: Stubby or Stubbits, Witchy-Poo, Daddy's Little Girl.

Jinxy: Dolly, Bambi, Jinxy-Do, Dolly-Doodles.

Chiquita: Skinny-Minnie, Boney Maroney, Macaroni, Chi-Chi.

Cassidy: Stinky-Butt or just Stinky.

I'm sure I've probably forgotten some of their nicknames, cuz they have so many. Some of them don't even know their real names, cuz I call them by their nickname so much.

I love reading what y'all call your cats! Some of those nicknames are a real hoot!

However, I'm glad to find so many other people who have kitty nicknames! I don't think what may cat's actual names are even matters at this point! We call them by their "other names so much!

Utu has lots of nicknames, he understands that I only want something from him if I use his real name, the others are just for greetings, cuddling and general talk. Few examples: Uzi, Uzi Mau, Sensei Utu, Uhu (the owl), cheap woman, roadkill..

Kuura: Hello Kuura, seal cub (kuutti in finnish), polar bear (jääkarhu in finnish), arctic/snow fox (naali in finnish), lump (möykky in finnish), meatloaf (mureke in finnish)..

Tomu: Tomu Mau, Tomultrus, Tomudeus I, Tomurder, Ed (the hyena from lion king), Zed (a guy from police academy movies), Silly boy

Luna: Well, Luna is her nickname, Lunazi, Nazi (), Cotton Candy (hattara in finnish), Fluffy, 'You are so tiny', and sometimes she gets to hear her real name Dascha.

I need to use certain voice to make them realize that I'm talking to them instead of about them, or if I want them to come to me etc. Otherwise they'll just look at the person mentioning their name but will not do anything if the name is not said in a specific tone.
(Most of their nicknames are finnish but I wrote them in english here so you'll know what they mean).

Peek-a-boo is Peekers, Peekiweeki, and Handsome.

Ernie is Evil E. Tubbo. Fat Cat. or Fat Ernie. (He's a bit on the chunky side, obviously.)

And Gnash is Mr. Bitey or Piranha. (I'm sure you need no explanation here, he's eight weeks old.)

I refer to the general collection of all my cats as "booboos." I also call them "booboo" individually when petting them or calling to them. When I'm coming in the door, I kiss up the stairs and say "Hi booboos!"

Simon doesn't have any cute nicknames yet, lol! Hard to shorten "Simon." Garfunkel is Funky, Funk, and Funk-funk (I know, right, SO CUTE! hahaha!).

They also have nicknames that include profanity which I can't mention here Think jack"butt" and the like These I like to say in a singsongy voice so they don't know the difference! I am sick & twisted, I tell ya!
