I'm so excited to be bringing home our new cat this Saturday. Having our cat, Cat, spayed pregnant a week ago was the hardest thing ever. (We didn't know she was pregnant when she showed up outside our back door.) Since I couldn't save those lives, I was determined to save another one. It's a male named Sneakers who has been at the shelter for a year now because he's labeled Special Needs and apparently that turns people off. His special need is just Royal Canin Urinary SO. A special FOOD. For a friendly, affectionate cat that is good with small children, cats, and dogs, people are turned off by a FOOD! So glad to be giving him the home he deserves. http://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/18515062

he's handsome! Is he going to be the only cat? I only ask because his description contradicts the "more about Sneakers" Section in regards to cats. Something you may want to confirm if you decide on a second cat

He's a swell looking cat. Such a pleasant expression!

At my shelter, cats that need special foods are so often passed over. Some people are afraid of the expense, or that the need for the special food may mean future health problems.

Then there are all the cats age 6+ that people think are "too old." It's darn frustrating.

Sneakers is a lucky guy! May he bring you much joy and comfort!

I too, saw that he should be the only cat, so here's hoping that introductions go ok!

He's an absolutely beautiful boy!
