My Babys Dying

I have/had four amazing, eccentric, fun and totally
Awesome cats. One of my baby's , Tobyas Meyels , passed
May 22 this year of kidney failure. He was 12 yes old.
Now there's Brookx Wyre, he has heart disease I just found out.
He's a beautiful English Blue kitty who is only 1 1/2 years young.
My husband and I scooped him up from the woods when we were
On vacation in Tennessee hiking. Brookx has nesseled his way into
My heart and I'm so broken hearted about his condition!!!
I watched as poor Tobyas went through the agony of taking
Medication for his kidneys, he seemed to love the subcutaneous fluids
Because he purred when we gave it to him. Tobyas was not a good
Medication receiver. Brookx on the other hand takes his medication like a champ! I don't know what to do. Brookx loves playing catch. The vet said not to enduce playing. But I can't just watch my little Brookx sit around looking depressed. His heart walls are thickening pretty rapid. We had a doctor appointment yesterday and the vet gave that look.... You kno the bad news look. She however said he looks the same as last time. I am at a loss as to give Brooks the medication or just let him live the way he was supposed to and let nature decide. Because watching my Tobyas was the worst thing I ever had to see.

Poor Brookx! I feel so badly for you and your family. I am so sorry you are going through this, especially after losing your senior meezer. I have no advice to give you but I think that you will make the best decision. Sending vibes

I'm sorry.

When my girl got sick last year I kept asking everyone what I should do. I felt so lost and heartbroken. Everyone kept telling me "you'll know", and I hated that answer. Everyone was right. I just knew. Go with what you feel is right for your much loved friend. You will get it right.

I'm very sorry you are gong through this. I know how difficult it is.

O what a shame to read what you and your kitties have gone through and are going through.

Only you know what is best for Brookx Wyre...play or quiet. Just your presense and love and snuggling will bring a state of contentment to Brookx Wyre.

May your little one know happiness and love during this time. What better emotions are there?

Again, I will keep you both in my prayers. It is not the length of life, but the heights we reach when we are loved and cherrished. Brookx Wyre will know this.

Have faith that even though it may have been short , whatever life you provided for him in your home was better than the life he would have had in the woods where you rescued him. Little comfort when facing his loss, I do know, but you will find comfort in that fact later on.

When I lost my rescue I did have that to look back on. We are able to give him a wonderful and full life.

We are able to give them love and the comforts of a home. The warmth of a real bed, the happiness of a full belly, and the comfort of a family.

Our job is to love them for their whole lives - though sometimes that ends up being a much shorter time than we expected.

Know you provided your special baby all you could and let that carry you through your troubled time. You WILL know what is right to do for your little one.
