I was sitting here thinking about the crazy dreams I have, and figure I'd start a dream thread. Feel free to add any of your dreams on here if you want!

Last night mine was probably institution worthy, with all the transformations that happened and even the teleporting at some points

Part 1 started out with me driving my big red F-350 through a city. A friend, Mike C, who I haven't seen in awhile who is currently in Alaska working was waiting to turn when I crossed in front of him. He back tracked and followed me into an Applebee's where we ordered some food and decided to catch up. I called my hubby and told him to join us. Then suddenly I was teleported to a different restaurant, with a different friend named Mike D (ok what's with the same first names
). My hubby joined US then even though I didn't tell him where I had been teleported to. I kept trying to call and text Mike C to come to the other restaurant, but couldn't get through. I was worried that he would think we ditched him, even though I was involuntarily transported to the other place. Then it faded into part 2.....

In part 2, there was some type of remodeling being done on my 2½ year old house. I was at my in-laws house and kept thinking someone was vandalizing my house, or that something bad had happened. Hubby's grandparents came down from Maine as I was walking out of the in-laws house with my 9mm holding my new "gangster" 35-round magazine. I had to hide it behind my back because in the dream his grandmother was afraid of guns (not sure if she is in real life). By the time I walked the few hundred feet to my house, the 9mm had transformed into my Mossberg shotgun. When I got into my house, I think my MIL was following me at first, then someone who's face I couldn't see was there with me as my "back up". I saw red boot prints near my bedroom door as if someone stepped in paint or blood and kicked it in. When I got in the room, there was a sleeping bag on a mattress moving around. I had the shot gun up and chambered a round, which got the attention of the mysterious movers. It was actress Michaela Conlin (Angela Montenegro on "Bones") and some random guy
Apparently I knew her because in the dream I started freaking out on her for scaring me like that as well as being in my house when no one was supposed to be there! When I walked out of the room, KH's (pole friend of mine) name was circled in red on a piece of paper. I immedately guessed that whoever left the boot prints was looking for her. I ended up teleporting back to my last house in New Jersey, and all I really remember from that part was walking in the garage and strange vehicles in the driveway.

Part 3 faded into my "ex" from Jersey asking out one of my friends here in Charleston (who actually does have a boyfriend of over a year). She was asking me what I thought, and if it was worth leaving her boyfriend over, even though she had never met him. Apparently the ex had a married girlfriend, but wanted an unmarried one as well. I told him he needed some therapy or something, and told her to stick with who she really wanted to be with because sacrificing something true just to try it out with him wouldn't be worth it in the long run.

Whew! Totally random!!! My hubby woke me up at 3am, sounding like Nero when he's full of boogers, and when I fell back asleep I don't recall any dreams after that last night. I'm surprised I recalled all of that because usually I forget shortly after waking up! Feel free to share dreams or give opinions on the insanity of mine

I don't dream every night. But when I do, they make no sense. Most times they are upsetting because lately I have been so worried about my old dog, Wilbur. Last night, I had a nightmare about the day he has to go to the bridge. I also dream about being able to fly
. I also have good dreams about horseback riding
and my cats

I have some weird and funny dreams...
One time i dreamed that I worked part time at a cafe and the owner was an alien of a dying race. He wanted to marry me so we could have babies and the race wouldn't die off. To my subconscious' credit, he was pretty gorgeous and not all alien looking
Anyway so I remember being scared and I didn't want to marry much less have sex with someone I didn't intend to for the purposes of continuing their race...And then he came up to me and handed me a jelly donut, and said eat this, my seed is in the jelly you will get pregnant after eating it...grosssssss!! Apparently the aliens in my dream had a different way of mating and making babies than humans do..Don't judge me it's only my subcounscious not me making this all up
I was so conflicted, a part of me wanted him because he was gorgeous and a part of me was relieved the baby making would be as simple as eating a donut...lol

Does anybody have a recurring dream? I have this one dream almost every week and have for the last 20 years or so.

One of my GFs and I are riding our bikes down a country lane, lined with old trees along both sides of the lane. It's autumn because there are colored leaves along the road. We come around a corner and there's a huge, old house. It hasn't been lived in for many years, but it's a beautiful old house with a huge porch all long the front. It needs so much work, but we are intrigued by the house.

Lori and I stop and decide to go into the house. We walk around the entire first floor and I could tell you every little nuance about that floor: what the kitchen looks like, the living room (we called it a parlor for some reason), the colors of the old furniture, everything. I've had this dream so many, many times, I could tell you anything at all about that first floor. If I could draw, I could even do a picture of the rooms.

We decide to go up the stairs to the second level. I go first because she's a little leery. I get to the top of the stairs, turn around and say, "It's OK, Lori, you can come up."

And just then two very thick hands come around my neck and the man starts to choke me. Just as I'm going to die, I see who the man is and I think, "Oh my god, I know you, you're..........!" And then I awaken.

Like I said, this dream has haunted me for years and years. I can't get rid of it. At least once a week, sometimes more often. It used to scare me, but I'm so used to it now that I awaken and then I go right back to sleep. Lori and I have talked about it so many times and we have no idea why I keep having that dream.

I don't know, but if you ever see that house in real life, don't go in!!!

I had a recurring dream that started when I was 15ish. A girl I talked to on a car message board passed away in a car wreck, I was also good friends with her boyfriend at the time, and after that I kept dreaming nightly that before I turned 20 I was going to die in a car accident. In the dream I'd be driving over a bridge, windows down, and a friend was with me in the car. I couldn't see her face, but she had long blonde hair. My best friend had long blonde hair, so I just assumed it was her (and she assumed so as well). The way I died occasionally changed - one time it was a blue Dodge Viper that hit us head on (even weirder, for that year's birthday I got a model Viper that looked exactly like the one in my dream). Another time it was a semi truck. Another time I flipped off the bridge.

Well I'm 24 now so I guess I outlived the dream's "prediction"!
