OK, I know I'm in "high alert" mode right now because of Lazlo.
But at all three meals today Spooky has only had a few licks of food at most, and she's one of the few that usually finishes ALL of her food. I even broke out the Fancy Feast we keep around when she didn't eat any dinner at all. She always likes kibble as a treat - she licked at it a couple of times, but didn't eat any.

She's also been asleep under the bed all day. That's not entirely unusual, but....

If she doesn't eat tomorrow morning, we have to decide to which vet we're going to take her.

Gary wants to get professional cleaners in here to sanitize everything. I pointed out that NOTHING has changed. No new cleaners, nothing. There haven't been much in the way of mosquitoes out this year (yet, knock wood). We haven't left any food out, they haven't gotten into anything. We leave no plastic out because of Ming Loy... and let's face it. We live in a pretty contained space. I don't know what to think.

Oh dear.....
WOW, everyone just get sick all at the same time
. Very stressful time for you, but I know you and if anyone can manage all of this, it is YOU
!!!!!!!!!! It is possible that Spooky is just feeling under the weather today
. Perla, my little piggy, did this one day but did finally take a meal late evening. Hopefully, Spook just has a sick tummy and will be eating by the morning. MEGA MEGA vibes to YOU!!!!! Come On, Spooky, feel better

There's no place like home
OMG Laurie - what next?

I've noticed that most of mine are eating far less these days from the heat of summer. Could it be the heat is bothering her?

Sending more vibes!!

And more

I wish I could blame it on the heat. It was an incredibly beautiful partly sunny 71 degrees today.

Gary did remind me - Spooky, Billy, and Ming Loy are our "bug" chasers. I've never seen her (or any of them) eat one - but it's possible. Let's hope that's all it is!

There's a massive problem out this way with Stink Bugs. Imported from China (thank you, international trade), they arrived about a decade ago, and are reaching epidemic proportions in a lot of places out East. About 1/8 of the apple crop was lost (east coast) last year to them. We are lucky - the RV is sealed pretty well, but there are homes out here that just simply cannot be sold because of the invasion. We do get the occassional visitor, and they create quite a stir with the kitties.

I know the high-alert feeling all too well. Hopefully Spooky's just feeling a bit off or not as hungry. Our guys go through phases like that when the weather changes. Lots of good coming!

PHEW!

to all!

There was a giant hairball on the kitchen floor this morning, and Spooky was ravenous.
This is the first time I'm aware she's had an issue with hairballs. Tux, Chum, Ming Loy, Billy, and (usually) Shelly and Spooky don't seem to have a problem passing hair (knock wood).

SUCH a relief!

DOUBLE PHEW!!!!

A good start to your week then, Laurie
. Glad it wasn't a STINK bug causing the troubles. Give Spook a scritch and tell her to enjoy her pigfest this morning

Now, for Lazlo

I'm just reading of any of this now. I'm so glad Spook is better today, and you know the cause of her problem. What a relief, huh?!

I just read this thread after reading the one about Lazlo - I am sooooo glad to see it was just a hairball and Spooky is back to her normal self!!!!

Whew! The things these cats put us through!!!
