TGIF all!

Today is my Mom's 51st birthday so this evening we're having a BBQ here to celebrate. Mom, my brother Brody, along with my grandparents will all be here, as well as possibly my brother Tyler, his girlfriend Michelle and my nephew Silas.

Ty usually works until 7 but he's going to try to get off early to come for supper. We got Mom a really cute birthday cake and some old age gag gifts.

I gave her her big gift last weekend, a beautiful quilt with matching shams. Mom has always loved quilts.

We have absolutely NO plans for the rest of the weekend and I'm looking forward to some relaxation!

Morning All!!

Brr very cool this morning with a breeze. 56F (13C) humidity dropped quite a bit as well.
Its pretty soggy outside though.

Awake early due to some serious cat fighting this morning. Raced downstairs and Bender was growling at yet another cat outside a black one. Poor Grizzlie got in the way of him jumping to the next room's window so a bit a cat hair to clean up. The other female that hung around all day yesterday he put out of the garage but she appeared from under some plants this morning and is back in the garage.
Neil told me of another place to try to see if they are missing a cat(s).

Parents are coming today for the weekend. Sun to come back tomorrow so hit the farmers market early and grill out tomorrow night.

Nub-e dozing on a kitchen chair catching his kitten early morning nap-I might do the same!

Morning Friends and TGIF indeed!

It's been a long week and I'm ready for the weekend.

Not too much planned; we want to hit Home Depot for some barberry plants (thanks for the picture, Susan!) and Lowes for a large cabinet that DH has been wanting for his work area in the basement. And my sister and I are going to the place where I bought Rupert to look at fountains. Other than that, it's yard work (if it doesn't rain) and house work.

Morning.. I think I'm taking the day off today. Not up for housework or job searching or anything else really. Just really having one of those really blah days.

But if I get over it soon, then I'm sure I'll come up with some productive stuff to do. Actually, I did want to make either a flaxseed bread or flaxseed muffins if I find a good sounding recipe. Other than that, nothing.

No plans for tonight besides relaxing, it's been a long and busy week for BF, with work travel and all that.
