My 1 yr old spayed female (indoor only) got out and was lost for 2 weeks! When we got her back Saturday she had lost weight and has a UTI. Other than that she looks ok.
The problem is (that no one nor 2 vets can figure out) is that ever since her return she has a pronounced body spasm when she sits or relaxes. It is not visible during play or sleep. She had a seizure once as a kitten but none since. We think it may have occurred from running very quickly (playing) or the fumes from a room she was in that had the tile pulled off -just old glue. ..or both together?
Please! Anyone know anything about why this could be happening now?!?! It seems neurological or heart related or... I don't know? A mild poisoning? Or could it be a result of head or spine trauma? Or just stress?
