two things.

1. I can't stand all the hair on the desk when my cats sleep on the desktop.
2. I feel terrible that they're laying on that hard wood. even though they don't seem to mind.

so i bought a little bed. Wilbur is scared to death of it, but Tinker likes it.

Got a good shot of her cute little face.

Direct Link to bigger version (very nice)

and here's a pic showing where it's at. She loves it. Won't leave.

Nice! She looks very happy there.

Fortunately, the bed looks just large enough to accommodate two cats (just in case Wilbur decides he's not afraid anymore)!

Yep, it looks like Miss Tinker definitely approves.
And if Wilbur ever decides the bed isn't a monster, you better sure to take pics of any snuggling that might result!

Awwwwww she looks so grown up in this pic, especially her eyes.... is she like 3 or 4 now?
Her color is gorgeous, she is a stunning young lady. do her eyes go from shades of green to copperish?

Would love to see some pics of Wilbur, too.

She seems to be very happy on her bed. I think she's saying I love you by enjoying the gifts that you give her. So cute!

Thanks those wonderful comments. tinker thinks she's pretty cute too

So I finally tricked Wilbur into going into it today. I think he's afraid of white things. If I put white pillow cases on, he is terrified to get on the bed. I bought a white sheepskin rug for them to lay on, he avoids it at all costs. And he got to the point he'd walk through the bed, but as quickly as possible. he wanted out right away.

So i put his favorite towel over it (he thinks it's a blanket) and he popped right in.

of course this intrigued Tinker and she needed to talk Wilbur into letting her in.

but he must have had bad tasting fur.

But finally, they got in and snuggled up. it's too small for two of them, but they don't seem to care

and what's up with Wilbur's ear lol?

yeah she's 3. it's hard to believe i had these kittens at less than two weeks old. I don't know if you know the whole story but I lost them for two months but thankfully got them back and I'm so glad I did.

Anyway, nope her eyes are always that gold color. Wilbur's are exactly the same.

I was giving some thought to your brushing dilemma and the fact that they only want you to brush their cheeks.

Have you thought of using a "Grooming Glove"? They are actual gloves designed for grooming pets. You do nothing more than stroke them and it collects the hair.

Some years ago I bought a single grooming mitt. I didn't like it too much because it was a mitt. But Chynna loved it.

Mitt similar to what I had

I think I would have preferred the pair of gloves.
