Good morning Kailie!

I didn't see the kittens from 7:30am to 10pm yesterday so I stayed up too late last night to get more cuddle time in. I'm sleepy, but it was worth it. Slow day at work today... if I were busier I'd be less sleepy.

I went to a Mary Kay party last night. I had such a good time! It's probably just from drinking the Kool-Aid, but I'm looking into becoming an MK seller. It seems like a much more flexible, fun option than a part-time job (which I've been considering heavily) plus discounted skin care products and makeup! lol! I'll give it some time before jumping in. I'm known to get excited quickly and cool off quickly when it comes to new things.

Morning.. I wish I had hash browns and toast!! I just finished the first bowl of cereal I've had in... gosh, at least 5 years. Blah. I just am not into cereal. But I wanted to start eating cereal so I oculd mix in ground flax seed. Not sure if I'll continue past this current box and carton of soymilk though... I'll try sprinkling it on a sandwich next.

Anyway.. I have an eye dr. appointment in about an hour. Might head up to do my weekly inspection after that, or if my eyes are way too dilated then I might just come back home. No other real plans for the day.

MMM yes, hash browns are my fav, and I am bad, I add some syrup to them...

Just finished my workout, and earlier, I groomed/brushed all the cats. I groom them outside on my patio table, one at a time. I love it when it is windy, and the hair goes flying away. I wonder what the neighbor's think when they look up to see globs of hair blowing by . Then off to the grocery store, making sloppy joes for dinner tonight, with asparagus and homemade potato salad. Larry will be in for a real treat. Oh and have to stop at Petsmart to pick up some dog food.

First: I got to bed at 1:15 a.m. (about the usual time)
Then: Up at 8:00 a.m., took a shower, got dressed
then - fed 8 cats
cleaned out 5 litter pans
had breakfast of a protein drink and vitamin/mineral supplements
clipped Buddy's nails
read my email
confirmed some online orders and shipments
cleaned out litter pans and took the litter to the trash container at the curb - waiting for pick-up

Sent an email to the owner pool guy - his man was here but didn't vacuum out the pool, got a note back that the owner pool guy that he'd be here at 3 pm.

Went for the mail - got more than junk today
Cleaned litter pans - took out to curb, again

DH got home with Trader Joe's shopping, and Stater Bro. groceries
Put freezer and refrigerator stuff away
DH also brought home some fast food - ate McDonald's hamburger & fries (not our usual fare - just something quick).

Female feral-born used the litter with no results - will be watching her closer now.

Gray, the former stray, came to me for some attention and massaging - so the feral-born mommy and their feral-born son came over for the same massaging treatment. Every day there's an improvement in trust - and now they know just how wonderful my massages and scratches feel so are more eager to ask for more.

Preparing for long-lost friends to visit. It's a shame they are visiting in the hottest time of the year for the Desert - it's 110 right now. And, I no longer have a guest room since Buddy is the new resident - so the living room will be prepared to receive guests.

Saw this thread, never posted in it - thought it would be fun - it is.

Now, waiting for The Closer to come on TV, then a power nap time - but, not before the afternoon feeding of 4 of the 8 cats.

DH will meet with the pool guy - 'cause we're not pleased with the service.

After I take my power nap, we'll see how things go - but the usual routine will be at 7-7:30 pm I'll be in the room with Buddy giving him massages, and all the lovin' I can until 10 pm ish, then back to the other cats - washing their cat dishes, cleaning out litter pans, and feeding them before I retire for the evening, errr morning - which is usually around 1 a.m. Whew! I'm so tired I might take my power nap early!
