How to introduce my garfy to a new kitten

Hi,
I owned a male persian whose name is garfy and is about 4 months plus. I am going to buy an female exotic cat by tomorrow. She is going to be 5 months old. My garfy is a very playful and NOT SOCIABLE cat. I have bring garfy to meet with this exotic cat. She seem to be very friendly towards garfy but my garfy is giving noices like is going to fight with her lor. How am I going to do so that he can accept my new kitten? Please help me?

Hi! Congratulations! I just brought two new Persian cats home and had to introduce them to my resident Persian (Peaches). I pretty much followed Hissy's article on introducing a new cat. I'll try to find it, but in the mean time maybe Hissy or someone else will come up with it! I printed it out and then didn't pay attention to the link anylonger! But it works!

Hissy, I think we sent this almost the exact same time! When I was writing mine it was still in the lounge and when I was finished it was in Behavior!
