New kitten peeing everywhere but litter tray!

Hello, long time lurker first time poster

We recently adopted a new male kitten called Rusty last week, who is 10 weeks old, we have another 2 year old female called Bubbles, first day we introduced them, they had the inevitable kitty fights, nothing major, now they seem to tolerate each other which after a week I think is brilliant. They are both indoor as well.

Anyway, first couple of days we had him, he was peeing just fine in the litter tray, now he goes on towels, his little kitty bed, clothes and most recently our bed (twice in one day).

We've got a Feliway diffuser in the flat, and I use an enzyme cleaner to clean up but he still refuses to pee in his tray (probably should mention that he poops in there and has never pooped anywhere else) If I pick him up and put him in his tray he will squat as if he's going to pee but just doesn't, it's driving me nuts. He was also at the vets today for his jabs and the vet said he's perfectly healthy.

Sorry for the long post, I look forward to any help and advice!

First of all, he needs to see the vet to rule out any medical condition. Second, put him in a confined area (such as the bathroom) and keep him there until he can use the box successfully each and every time. You might need to try different types of litters to find one he likes. There's also one called "Dr. Elsey's Cat Attract Litter" in a kitten formula that you might try if you can find it.
