i tamed a stray cat recently and he is great i thought the two older cats that are here were going to be have a problem with him but they don't. its mocha, the stray, that usually hisses but he is getting past that now a little. just today he came inside and walked around a little bit then went back outside and then came in again this happened a few times i am so excited about that. i thought he would never come inside. he comes when i call him, usually runs, he is a great cat and worth all the effort i have put into him.just thought i'd share that with you.

AW Mocha sounds like he is becoming a very happy, well adjusted kitty!!! And it is SO rewarding, isn't it, when they start to make those small, tiny steps towards feeling safe and comfortable with you. More and more, since Mocha has started coming on his own accord, this will happen more frequently. It takes so much time and patience, but in the end it is so worth the wait . Sounds like you are so happy to have Mocha.

Those of us who are reaching beyond ourselves to care for the strays and/or feral-born really understand how important these seemingly small steps are - I'm doing a victory dance with you!
