Dorothy's Mug Shots

I don't know what made me go looking yesterday, but I came across the photos that were stapled to Dorothy's information card at the shelter. Not sure why we didn't get any for Genever, as there must have been a pic on her card too, but oh well.

Anyway, two of the pics are kind of bad. Well one isn't too bad, the other she looks grossly pale. And the 3rd is HILARIOUS. BF and I were laughing out loud, I took a pic of the 3rd pic with my phone, texted it to my mom and some friends, they agreed it's less than flattering. One friend said her husband said it's good they don't take bad pics like that of kids waiting to be adopted!!

Poor Dorothy... I hope this wasn't ever on the shelter's Petfinder site! No wonder she was there for 9 months before we adopted her!

Oh, that is hilarious! She looks like a cranky old lady! I think the first one is pretty cute, though.

I used to have Holland's mug shot, but I don't know what I did with it... she basically looked like a black lump with scared golden eyes peeping out. Pretty much like she does now.

The third picture is now the wallpaper for my computer, LOL.

You know, Dorothy actually usually looks like a cranky old lady, just not making that ridiculous face. It's just the way her face is, she looks mad or mean or something. I seriously wonder if that, plus her older age, is why she spent so much time at the shelter. People might've looked at her and thought "Ooh, that's a mean looking one." Their loss! We know she's really not a meanie at all!! Especially when she jumps up on us and shoves her face in our faces purring and wanting some love.

I almost peed my pants when I saw that third photo!!! OMG!! Was she chewing tobacco?? How precious! She looks like how I feel most days--only cuter...

Chewing tobacco?!? That's too funny! You know, maybe she was. Maybe they made her kick the chew when she was impounded. I'm glad she's off it now anyway, because that's a nasty habit!
