Welcome to the Spotlight, Cindy! To start off, a few general questions, but there's a theme (mostly): Desert island, i.e. suppose you were stranded on one... and don't worry about the technology to support your choices, that will be taken care of somehow. Just dream...

1. What would be your five Desert Island CDs? They don't need to come from your own collection. Why would you choose these particular ones?

2. You might also want some reading material. What would be your five Desert Island books? Why?

3. What else would you like to have with you to occupy your time and your mind?

4. You'll also need food. If you could have only two or three foods and nothing else, what would you choose? Why?

5. If you could have one human companion, who would that be? Why?

And then one that is not part of the theme:

6. If you came into a large sum of money -- an unexpected inheritance, a winning, whatever, but "set-you-up-for-life" big -- what would be the first four things you would do?

Ok, I'll be starting with the questins from my very "Cool" friend, whom I see respected my wishes and asked me some different questions than my last time here, thanks my friend! Now.... Let's roll!!

I'm way too softhearted

I'm sleepy, my eyes are burning, and you should see this neat cat windchime that my friend brought back from his trip to Oregon!

whatever I find, usually keep a couple of magazines in there and some 'deep' reading too

how I'm gonna make it this week answering all these questions from my phone since my computer is dead.

I have not forgotten #3, just having issues with this phone!! What else would I take? I think a DVD player with all my favorite shows from the '70's... Welcome back jitter, Alice, the love boat, looney tunes, etc.....

How did your cats come to live with you? Spitz and Too were born to the same feral mother a year apart, before I could catch her. Sam wandered up to our bakery building one day and adopted my hubby. When we were planning on closing, I told him, the cat comes home too- and he's quite happy here!

Have you trained them to do any tricks? No, but I think they have me very well trained!

Do you dress them up? No, the two youngest are way too hyper, but Sam might let me, lol!

What's your favorite holiday? Christmas

what's your least favorite holiday? St. Patricks Day... I don't drink, and I'm always getting pinched!

What was your favorite subject in school? Home Economics

What's your favorite movie? Dirty Dancing

what's your favorite song? That's a tough one, I love so many!

After almost 8 years, easier said than done.....let's see...

1. As much of a computer geek as I am, I was terrified of them when they first came out.

Hmm...Sorry if the first set were repetitious, Cindy. That was one of my old original sets. I'll try to do better -- some of what I've got lined up is fairly recently assembled, but I'm not sure how much of it you've had, so feel free to ignore or answer from a different perspective or whatever. Let's see how we do with a little hodgepodge...

1. Do you like veggies? What is your favourite?

2. Are your grandparents still alive? Do you know them well?

3. When you have a 'lazy' morning, how late do you sleep in?

4. Do you drive? Do you like to or is it a necessary evil?

5. What is your first language? What others do you know - not necessarily fluently, but enough to be understood?

7. What is your favourite type of movie?

8. When you go to a movie do you stay to read the credits?

9. What behaviour would you ask your cats to explain, if they could speak?

Fran, I'll answer in a bit, I don't mind repeating parts of them, I just felt the need to torture our wonderful social director a bit, hee, hee, hee! I want to go back to Janurary 2009 when I get my computer back and see how my answers to the desert island have changed, just for fun! :-D
