I have 2 amazing cats, Alice and Giselle. They're both female, spayed, litterbox trained, and once you get to know them they are extremely playful and loving.

At the beginning of August, I am going to England to visit my boyfriend, and if that visit goes well, I'll be moving there. I did have a friend who agreed to look after them, but that fell through due to problems with her living arrangement so she can't do it anymore. No one else I know can look after them, I've asked around like mad and no luck.

I live in Georgia, however I am willing to transport my cats to one of the neighboring states (ideally somewhere where I can drive to in a day or less) if I find a suitable temporary arrangement there. This would more than likely go from 2-8 months, as if this visit with my boyfriend goes well then I'll arrange to have them rabies vaccinated and bloodtested so that way they don't have to spend any time in quarantine.

I would provide funds for food, litter, vet care, as well as whatever else we arrange, in addition for gas money to transport them to the airport once it's time to transport them to England. I would simply ask that you are easy to reach, so that I can check in regularly. I would also prefer that they remain indoor cats, as they have been up to this point, although my partner and I will start introducing them to the outdoors as soon as we've brought them over. And both of my cats do tend to be more outgoing around children than they are around adults, so if you have kids, that's an added bonus.

Any advise for this situation would be appreciated as well, whether or not you are able to provide space in your home. Rehoming them is not an option. Both of my cats are rescue cats, who I have invested a lot of time and energy with and grown very attached to. Not to mention that my boyfriend's daughter has been begging him for a cat for ages! I know it would be a lot cheaper to adopt another cat once I get there, however the bond that I have with Alice and Giselle can't be replaced at all.

If you are able to provide space for my girls in your home, then please PM me ASAP and we'll talk further. Thank you so much!

Have you talked to your vet to see if they know anyone who kitty-sits that they are aware of? Perhaps even your local shelter may know of someone who would be happy to do it for you?

I did check with those options, but the only fostering I've heard of in my area is for cats who actually are homeless, or for military personnel who are deployed, or for victims of domestic violence who don't want to lose their animals.

I may have another option lined up, but still too early to tell. Fingers crossed.
