You most likely took it with several swallows of something liquid to help move the pill along its journey through the esophagus and into the stomach. Most people would never dream of 'dry swallowing' pills, having felt that awful sensation of a pill not 'going down' very smoothly so why are we subjecting our animals to this illogical procedure?
