WHile at the movies with some friends, I lost my camera. I was sitting down on the chair and we had to get up to move and I was sure I put it in my pocket but it was gone, after the movie, we all had a look and didn't find anything, I nearly lost my phone as well. Very annoying day! What should I do to try and get it back? We've told the people at the cinemas and they said that if they see anything, they'll contact us and we're looking at Cash Converters tomorrow. Only up side to the day was spending it with my friends

I guess they'll be no pictures of the kitties for a while

Just LOUSY!!!! And reminds me of the time I lost my digital camera, or should I say my Dad lost my camera. They were over visiting (my parents) and we went to a local park and my Dad was taking some pictures of all of us with my camera. He apparently put it on the roof of the car and when we all packed in the car to leave (of course, no one noticed the camera on the roof, what a bunch of
) Dad just drove off, and off went the camera, somewhere.....
We went back later to try to find it, but it was no where to be found.

I would try to contact the threatre and see if someone found your camera

If the Cinema doesn't have it by now, I wouldn't be too hopeful. It's likely someone who sat in your original seats found it and kept it.

Was it an expensive camera? Maybe your house insurance will cover it?

Well, that sucks little green worms!

Several years ago, we went to a local state park for a picnic and decided to walk the path along the falls. My digital camera dropped out of its bag -- my fault as I didn't have the bag zipped -- and plopped into the stream. And, of course, that was the end of that.

I hope somebody will turn it in to the management.

Thanks everyone, the same thing happened to my mother once, people with brown bags were taking things from the floor and putting them in brown paper bags. Apparently, they came late and kept moving from seat to seat, mum had her bag at her feet (with her purse in it) and it was taken, later she reached down to grab it and couldn't. She reported it as stolen to the police and months later it was found in a vacant property, destroyed. I just hope the same thing doesn't happen, the camera had so many memories on it! It was an expensive camera, not sure of the price though I think it was around $300. Not sure if I could get the money back through house insurance but that is a very good idea
Even if I could get it back, I doubt they would have kept the memory card in, all those memories, just gone
