What do you guys use to keep your knives and shears sharp? I have a couple of different sharpening tools (see the links) and I don't like either one, so I'm looking for better options.
Wüsthof 2-Stage Knife Sharpener

Chef's Choice 440 2-Stage Manual Sharpener
I also have one of these: Chicago Cutlery Walnut Tradition 10-Inch Sharpening Steel.

I use one similar to the one in the second photo. I have had no problems with it. It keeps the blades really sharp if you run them through 30 plus times. I also have a steel but find it too scary to use!
You can buy electric sharpeners, maybe one would work better for you? There is also a man with an old fashioned sharpening machine on my street market here in Paris - a long way for you to come i know
