My little foster girls, Quinn and Cherese (aka Monkey and Squeaks), who are now 11 weeks old, are at the rescue's spay/neuter clinic today to be spayed. I know they're in good hands, but it just about broke my heart to see those sweet, scared little faces staring out at me from the cat carrier this morning. After being separated from their feral mom (who has been spayed and released), the little girls have socialized well. Quinn is very friendly, curious and loves to climb (hence the nickname Monkey). Cherese is a sweetie, just a little more shy than her sister, but loves to cuddle. She doesn't meow; she squeaks, which explained her nickname.
I'll be picking up them up tomorrow morning, then fostering them for another week before leaving on a family trip. They'll go back to the rescue then, and be ready for adoption. Will really miss them then!
