Gmorning.

When was the last time you took a trip, and where did you go? (I mean outside of running errands..... could be to visit a friend in another town, or a vacation..... just go somewhere other than your town)

My last trip was to Connecticut last fall to visit with one of my best GFs. DH and I go for a long weekend. He goes to the casino and my GF and I shop, shop, and shop. We usually cook one night in her kitchen and then we all go to dinner one night. We pick apples, usually between 80 and 100 pounds and I make applesauce for DH (it's pretty bad when I have to go to CT every fall for my apples!), go to Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, the Book Barn (for secondhand books), and sometimes to other places and stores, too. And we always have such a great time. She's a sweetie and I really like spending time with her.

My last trip was to NYC. I go several times a year. I have a lot of friends that live in Manhattan and it is a great time and a quick trip for me. I usually take long weekends when I go.

I had to think for a minute. We went to SF early in December last year for a few days. A nice quick getaway. Larry had some business and I just went along. We did have a nice time. I don't like to leave my furkids much though. Five day trips are about it

May long weekend we took my oldest to meet her birth father. We adopted her as an infant. He is a wonderful sweet man. To see a 6' 4" man melt at the sight of his daughter, made me cry.

Ummm..... having lived in the RV for so long, we combined where we lived with "vacation" kind of. But I really had to think here. I don't think we've done any kind of vacation thing since Gary's had the full-time medical issues. So the bus trip down to help my parents move from Brunswick, GA to Birmingham, AL in January 2006. (He went full-time medical issues in March of that year). We both got REALLY sick with bronchitis while down there.

NO! That's not true! We lived in the house, and took the cats and the RV to a lovely park in NJ - only about two hours south of here - over Thanksgiving for four days. So November 2007.
