Morning Friends!
Kailie, I saw that Monday and almost had a heart attack! Monday! No, no, no, no, NO! I want it to be Friday so badly!
No walk this morning on the treadmill. The alarm rang at 5:00 and I thought, "Well, if I just lie here for a couple minutes and if I fall asleep, I won't worry about it. If I don't fall back asleep soon, I'll get up and walk." And I fell asleep in seconds, I think. I was so tired and last night was a restless night. DH and I will walk tonight after dinner. It's an exercise night, too, so I'll exercise while watching Rome.....I'm starting to really enjoy the series.

MONDAY!!! No not another Monday
. Well, just took Squeak to the vet for his bladder xray and needle draw for a urine sample. So I am just a bit worried for today. He was so stressed about having to go back to Doc.

We also have people working here in the house today. A new furnace/AC unit getting put in today and tomorrow. So cats are in the foster room which they are all working. Perla is NOT happy and being crabby with her brother's. I will spend sometime with them in the room today to keep them calm.

Good afternoon
Feeling a bit stuffed after eating a huge lunch at a good pizza restaurant with a co-worker. I NEED to get on the treadmill tonight, if my friend and I don't work out! I'm going to her place to borrow one of her poles to put up in my newly floored pole room (looks like a mini-studio!
Trying to avoid putting the litter boxes back in there!
) until I can get my pole back from a friend 3 hours away.
It's finally cooler out today ... it stormed last night, first rain we've had in over a month. It's only 84F out, yay! So ready for it to be the weekend though - gymnastics, getting the ferals microchipped & vaccinated to prepare for their forever homes (even though I still wonder if Rob would keep one
) relaxation, and sleeping in!
Cooking tilapia for dinner tonight, even though I SO do not want to think about food right now. I'm trying to convince myself to get off the computer chair and finish my work

Thursday is my Wednesday, as my work schedule is Tuesday-Saturday. I just can't seem to wake up today. And I have to go to work soon, meh. At least the sun is finally out, yay.
Despite what the shelter lady said about getting him to take his meds, Connor didn't take his Prednisolone pill pocket yesterday. So we improvised this morning and gave him a cheese pocket instead.
It makes him happy and he takes his pill, which makes me happy. All is well.
I can't believe how fast he is settling in--right now he's sprawled under my computer desk, taking a nap. Snoring, in fact. He's on the Prednisolone for stress but I don't think he'll be on it much longer. He certainly doesn't look/act stressed now lol. Nothing bothers him, not even the goofballs across the street running around yelling and making all kinds of ruckus when the Bruins won the Cup last night.
