Hi everyone! This isn't my first post, but I am still very new.
I just adopted my first cat ever in December and I love him to pieces.
Up until now, I have only had dogs, so this is an adventure.
He is a black domestic short hair we rescued from a shelter. While my boyfriend and I had planned to eventually get a kitten to accompany the puppy we planned to adopt, we hadn't planned to come home with a kitten the same day we went to pick up our puppy! We had to drive 4 hours to pick up the puppy (Papillons are hard to find!), and while we were at the shelter, we saw a little black kitten and the shelter offered to let us take him home for free since apparently black cats are the hardest to adopt out. Thing is, we drove down there with only one pet carrier...so we had to quickly buy a bunch of cat necessities! It was an interesting drive back to say the least, but we love them both dearly.
This is a cat site, but I'll post both of my babies:
Say hello to Spooky!

This is when he was about oh...4 months old or so.

Bahahahaha

More recently, Spooky as a blob.
Then here is his playmate, Luna the Papillon:

Nice to meet you all! Everyone seems very friendly and helpful here.
