Things like this makes me glad that I never, ever buy any meat or produce from grocery stores. If you think an article about "very low levels of arsenic" sounds ominous, please do watch "Food, Inc." and "The World According to Monsanto", documentaries on the food industry and Monsanto's utter domination on it. Research where hydrogenated oil comes from and you might think twice about those Doritos or Twinkies. Makes MSG look like sea salt.

Thanks for posting, it was an interesting article and the subject is something I'm going to pay more attention to.

I saw this article a few days ago. Wondered whether to laugh or cry at this

Arsenic can end up in the manure from chicken coops and this is spread on agricultural land as fertilizer. Chicken coop floor waste is also routinely swept up and recycled as feed to cows on large-scale feedlots.

I had the same thought Violet. Kind of changes the way I think about Sunday fried chicken.

Yup, found all kinds of things in all kind canned food. I think my 1yr. ole Russian Blue was put down from them. He was trying so hard to tell me something. But, he was such a good boy & ate whatever I gave him.

His brother, Honey was fussy. But he did not get sick. I called the companies and told them about it. Eventually Honey did get parasites on his gums.

I took him to a vet, they refused to check his gums, but shot Panacur down his throat. We were both already on parasite medicine. He went into Urinary Blockage distress almost immediately and almost died. Now 10 lives has him, Panacur is in leagal issues with the FDA, and I had to surrender Honey because I didn't have $1000 for an emergency operation.

Beware of Panacur, they're finding out alot more about it and it's toxicity. I'm reading stories about small dogs & cats all over that have the same symptoms Honey got. They're giving their animals Panacur, while they keep getting sicker & some are dying.

Vets have been using it for decades. They use Dog Panacur, unless they get it from Europe. Call your vets and ask what kind of Panacur they use. See if you can get a even a bullet list od side effects.
