Hi and welcome to the Forums!

Ah, being grandma and waiting on these small folks... You never knows for sure! Statistics is one, but really it is quite individual with cats.
We had many threads here where we were waiting and waitning, but in the end they did arrived.

Firstly, how did you know the first pregnancy was exactly counted? You must know when the tom mated (or sired if you prefer this)... That is how it is done. And not all know how to count properly either.
This second time the vet appreciated she was in 6:th week. But he couldnt surely know. The exact day of beginning was not written in stone anywhere.

So to your question, if first delivery a little short but the kittens healthy.
Shouldnt the second be rather short too?
Statistically yes, but you never know for sure.
My guess is the first count wasnt entirely correct and she did just in time day 63-65.

This time we know the count is a little vague. But anyway, them going some days extra is not unusual. We had such treads too...
Better a couple of days extra than too short. a little short dont matter much for human babies, but cat babies are sensitive for early deliveries.

I suppose you can always phone to this vet, if you want. She is his paying patient. Although you shall perhaps wait with this free call till you really need it...

Good luck!

thanks for your quick reply
i ended up takeing scarlett when the person who had her first kicked her out the house i later found out it was because she whent in to heat and they dident like her meowing she was out for over 24 hours as far as i know i was thinking back and relised i have had her for 9 weeks not 8 lol
i took her on the day after she was kicked out 1s the person finaly let her back in the house i belived there was no reson for her to be treated that way as it wasent her fault i dident think at the time she would have been caught but 5 weeks after haveing her i relised that its a big fact that she mut have mated the night she was out a week later i took her to the vet and when they said she was 6 weeks gone i thought back and worked out how many days from when i new she was out i all so have a male cat but he was nuterd last year so i new she never got pregnant through my faults
i recon she is 64 days but i could be a couple of days off in the last couple of hours her attitude has changed a bit shes not anting any one near her now but shes still eating alot i dnt think it will be long now i will keep every one posted on how she is doing thanks for the advice lisa x
