Until a few weeks ago, I'd never even heard of this company, and they've been in business for 30 years.

I discovered the food when I read a post from someone on a feral discussion board and they provided an email address.

So I emailed the supplier about the food and he gave me a link to the site.

His pricing blows my socks off, it's way cheaper to buy through him for good quality food, than it is to buy from pet stores.

I looked through the site and found good food for both my dog and the cats, far better quality than the stuff I could get for the same price at the grocery store.

My dog loves the food, in fact he wolfs it down. The cats don't have the same reaction, but it's definitely something they like.

I free feed the cats, given the nature of my job and unstable hours, I have no choice. I can be at work for up to 14 hours.(hey, there's usually someone home to let the dog out and give everyone water.)

I love this food so much that I'm selling it locally as well, my supplier is fine with me doing this. It gets him more business, so the warehouse isn't full.

I will never go back to cheap food again, even though this is dirt cheap to buy food, but certainly far from cheap quality.

Solid Gold is a decent food. My cats didn't do well on the regular cat food (Katzenflocken)---I think it's too low in fat. I've never tried their grain-free (Indigo Moon), though. My dogs have done well on their dog foods, but I found that I can get similar-quality foods for a better price. Guess I haven't found the right supplier!

My supplier sells it for a fraction of the site cost. They mark the prices up so high to make huge profits off of it.

Essentially the food costs about $8 per 15lb bag and I get it for $10.

My cats are eating the Indigo Moon food, and it will be good for the kitten as the kibble is much smaller than she's eating now.
