Which is best? I have a really old Flickr account I can use but some folks here seem to feel Photobucket is better.

Who uses which one and why do you like the one you use? And any drawbacks? TIA

I use Photobucket because it's easy to log into and it's easy to use.

I also have my own website and if I'm uploading a number of files, I tend to upload them to my host file on my website.

Neither! For forums pics, I use http://tinypic.com/
It's easy to use too. You should check it out.

I also have an old flickr account but use the tinypic more often.

Tinypic and imgur.com are way better than photobucket, but flikr can be handy in its own way.

I use photobucket, never used flickr before. No real reason why I use it over any others - just found it one day and have had it for about 6 years.

I prefer Picasa
Easy to use, I can upload directly from iPhoto, and it has great editing tools within Picasa itself.

I just use photo bucket because it is pretty simple for me to figure out. Haven't tried flickr just picked photo bucket first and it has worked well for me.

If you're a serious photographer, Flickr is the way to go. My brother started out posting his amateur night photography there a few years ago, got noticed by a publisher, and now has a book coming out! But even if you're just looking for storage, it's enjoyable to be on Flickr, because you get exposed to such a wonderful variety of photographic art.

I've had my own website for years now, so I can just use storage space there for pictures and such. I've heard a lot of good things about PhotoBucket, though, as well as Flickr.

I have had Photobucket for years and love it. It is easy to use and you can have as many albums as you want, I think I have about 5 or 6 different albums now so I can find pics easily when inserting them in emails. I don't know much about Flickr at all except the one person I know who has it has a difficult time with it, it could be just her of course. The uploads are fast and easy too on Photobucket. I know of no drawbacks at all.

I have a flikr, photobucket, and picasa account lol. I tend to use picasa the most because its easy to do, but sometimes I will use flikr for photo contests and stuff like that.

I completely forgot about tinypic. Thanks for refreshing my memory. Facebook is destroying my memory
