I just hear Swans!!!

I live on the bank of a river and most of the time I hear geese and the odd time ducks. I just heard loud trumpeting!!!
Swans!!!!!

How wonderful for you. We have the geese on the creek and I love to hear them too. But have never heard a swan.

That's so awesome! I've never heard swans trumpet before... they are usually silent and doing their thing when I see them in lakes.

It's loud and really does sound like trumpet notes!! I wish I had seen them. I remember my Dad taking me to the Zoo. Our zoo has a very large duck pond. It was one of the stops we made even though it was out of the way of the actual zoo. There were always swans there. They're such a beautiful bird!

Yeah they really are regal! And all of this swan talk reminds me of "The Trumpet of the Swan" by E.B. White.
