PDX Portia and proof that JoJo does approve

And proof that JoJo is gradually accepting Portia... she has her moments... like when she's being an ornery old brat (now officially 9 years old), but she lets Portia groom her face sometimes... she pulls the same 'submission then tattle' game she used to pull on Jack...

And there's a video in the first link. It takes a bit to get going... you get to hear Portia's squeak when she wants something... and my first ever 'butt-wiggler' cat. My apologies for the mess. I'm a stuff-hoarder in recovery... and when there's physical pain keeping one from doing the cleaning, it's hard to get things done...

What I find so amusing is that Portia's description of 'needing a quiet home' is not 100% accurate... granted, there are no kids here... and I wish I had the proof that she HATES small dogs (I got video of her second encounter with the miniature stuffed wolf that's about her size... the big one I have, no issues... the small one? wow. I've never seen a cat try to tear something apart like that). But she plays and is about as quirky and active as some kittens I've known... she's such a dorky cat.

Aww, she's such a cutie! They both are! I'm glad JoJo's getting used to the idea that Portia's staying for good.. Hopefully they'll keep getting closer as time goes on!

JoJo is just a crabby old girl who takes after her Meowmy a little too well.

Yeah, they both have pretty eyes... although, JoJo's matches her fur. Portia has those green with flecks of gold. I just got a good shot of her eyes this morning. Having the only working computer be a netbook and stationed at the couch instead of the desk makes for two happy girls...

Now if I can get JoJo to stop digging her claws into my knee, all three of us will be happy... ow ow ow...
JoJo used to be a brat to Jack... not always... but in recent years... now I see her pulling the same 'bratty big sister' pranks on Portia... and she lets Portia groom her for a couple seconds. (if only Portia would let ME groom HER, I could get those blasted mats out... it least her bites don't break the skin)

She's getting better... one marked difference with Portia vs. how JJ treated Jack: they can eat pretty much side by side.
