I took my cat in for a uti and the vet gave me octin to help ease her cramps. Now it's about an hour after i gave her one and she is breathing very rapidly and with her mouth open sometimes. I took her pulse and it was about 115 so that's acctually kind of low I think. I called the vet and told him and he said that that is what octin does and not to worry about it. I trust this guy and I've been going to him for years but this is kind of scary. Has anyone had any expierience with octin or Oct-vet? Could Baytril have anything to do with these symptoms?

Actually I am a little confused since the only Octin I am aware of is:

OCTIN is a Cipla-Medpro generic ciprofloxacin solution for ophthalmic use. It is schedule 4 and is indicated for use in susceptible conjunctivitis and corneal ulcers.
Meaning it for the eyes.

Can anyone else clarify / correct me on this.
