Morning all!

Well foster Penny has kittens! What a LONG labor though, the poor thing was in a lot of discomfort all day yesterday. When I woke up this morning she had 3 beautiful tabby babies and just had the 4th a few minutes ago. She may not even be finished yet.
So far they're all looking great and nursing well!

As for my health, I am SLOWLY getting there. I still do a lot of coughing, especially at night, but otherwise I'm much better.

We're going camping again tomorrow, this time with Mom & little brother Brody!
We're just going overnight, can't wait. The campgroud we're going to is a favorite. Then on Sunday Mom is having a big BBQ for my grandmother's birthday. All in all it should be a great weekend!

Sounds like a great weekend and yay for Penny!

It's a nice 69ºF this morning, but supposed to get up to 90 again later. Feeling mostly better. Never got around to working out yesterday though because my MIL and I ended up playing with the feral fosters
I will be making an appointment soon for their vaccinations, then they'll be fixed and put up for adoption! Gonna miss those little buggers making me laugh!
Still trying to get MIL to just say yes - FIL never texted me back and she's running out of time to take the little tortie without having the adoption fee. Tonight I'm going out for margaritas with her,

Ready to sleep in this weekend - Nero and Neko were cuddling with me this morning and I wished it were Saturday! Got gymnastics tomorrow, then may volunteer with the SPCA and do some of their data entry for them again

Morning, Friends!

Yay, kittens! Tabby kittens!!

We were under threats of severe t-storms last night, but didn't get a drop. I ended up having to water the garden. I knew that would happen. Plant a garden, get no rain. Figures.

We're going to a few public sales tomorrow. I'm looking for a few things: a small fountain for at the pool, some old wooden screen doors, a wrought iron table for the deck, some stone planters. I hope I find something I can use. Then onto dinner tomorrow night with a group of friends.

Sunday will be spent outside, weather permitting. My sister and BIL are coming over to "help" us transplant irises, daylilies, and penstemon (also known as beardstongue). In other words, they're going to help us dig them out and then they're taking them home with them. She'd like to plant some things on their property down by the creek and we have a ton of plants that desperately needed to be thinned out. It's not a good time right now; should be done in very late spring or early fall, but we do what we can when we can. They're staying for dinner Sunday night and we're going to grill something; we just don't know what yet.

Other than that, it's just chores. I have to finish the laundry and clean our messy house.

And that's pretty much it. Have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend!

Morning... we got a short but strong storm last evening around 7:30 or so while outside at this free music thing downtown. We were close to a roof overhang though so we hid in there until it passed. Very windy. It cooled everything down by about 20 degrees though. It's going to be hot again today but not as bad, still humid though. There are more storms predicted for tonight and the weekend. I like it! Although my mom's having a party thing on Sunday, so I hope it doesn't rain for that, or else we'll all have to crowd in the house.

Anyway, not much happening today, I might walk to the peanut store again because no one was there yesterday! The door was open, but no one anwered when I yelled HELLO?? Later on I'm going to my cousin's house, I can't wait to see her! That will be fun.

Well have a good day everyone, stay cool!

Kailie, so glad Penny had her babies and all is well
. I saw the pictures and they are so adorable and beautiful just like their mom

Lots of storms again over night. My dog, Henry, is now on Xanax for his debilitating phobias of storms, fireworks, motorcycles, flying bugs, the list goes on.
. This year is just worse than ever and I just think he gets worse as he gets older (he is almost thirteen), and after discussing with my vet we put him on Xanax. Just started with it yesterday and he is already much more peaceful and relaxed and just seems overall much happier.
Henry, can I have some

Larry is home and we are getting some overdue projects done around the house today. Put knobs on all cabinets in the kitchen, finally. Starting to plan new floor for the bathroom too. And other odds and ends. Then we are going out to dinner at TGIF's.

Enjoy your day all
