Morning all,

I am literally working from my laptop in one of the foster rooms this morning as Penny prepares to have her kittens. She's been in and out of her birthing box all morning and doesn't want me out of her sight.

Pretty fuzzy this morning but I just ate breakfast so hopefully I'll perk up soon. Today I am getting a manicure and pedicure from a natural nail care salon. They had a Groupon for 51% off and I got the two for $27. I'm reeeeaalllyyy excited!

Very, very stormy here today. Three big ones over night, and another one early this morning. We needed the rain, but I stress during the thunder/lightening because my dog Henry has terrible storm phobias. I didn't sleep a wink last night because of Henry's anxiety. . I am tired.

Cancelled going out to my friend's horse barn to ride her horse, Jack today because I am toooooo tired. Will stay home and get housework done, a workout in. Larry and I might go out to Barley House brewery tonight. They have three dollar beers and burgers. Larry has tomorrow off and is getting his permanent crown put in.

Good afternoon

Just got done with my first half of work, think I'll finish the rest after lunch. Hoping to get back to bikram yoga class today (since I paid for it!) now that I can breathe through my nose again.

Another hot, humid day with no rain here. We haven't had rain in a long time now. I think one of my azalea bushes has reached the point of no return and died because of how dry it's been.

Nero had his comprehensive exam today, clean bill of health and was a perfect patient as usual they said. Got his nails trimmed (woohoo a few weeks of painless kneading ) and my MIL is picking him up. Hopefully she'll go in and play with the feral kittens some more, so she falls more in love with the little tortie and takes her!

Good afternoon.. I arrived in PA yesterday and I am loving this stupid hot weather! Of course I say this as I'm on my laptop downstairs with the window AC on. I guess we're supposed to get some storms today or tomorrow which will break the heat but it'll still be nice and hot.

I was too lazy and tired to take my mom to work this morning, so I don't have a car. I hesitate to go walking in the mid afternoon sun, especially with it being so hot, because the sun can really make me sick. BUT.. I want to go buy some peanuts from this peanut shop abut a 15 minute walk away. Best fresh-roasted peanuts you'll ever have. I was tasked with bringing some back to CA with me. Not sure what the plans are for this evening, my mom and I might go downtown for this free music thing on Thursdays.. I'll see how I'm feeling by then.

This is the first time I've been home and Polly's not here anymore. It's sad. I do miss her a lot.

Well, I guess I'll get some shoes on and meander around outside, finding the shadiest route to Matz's Peanuts. Have a good day everyone!!
