Since I am always looking for suggestions on this one, here's my question:


What do you like to have for breakfast????
Does your breakfast differ on weekends?

I rarely eat breakfast

I enjoy cold cereal, scrambled eggs, fruit, or a bagel. Or sometimes I'll indulge in a spicy chicken biscuit or chick-n-mini's from Chick-fil-a.

While breakfast is my least favourite meal, I always force myself to have it

I usually have cereal, sometimes toast, and I make a delicious smoothie to go along with it, yumm! Sunday's I have pancakes

During the week, it's usually toast & yogurt or oatmeal & yogurt. On the weekends we have Tim Horton's coffee & bagels.

On weekends, I might have a cup of coffee. Sometimes, as a treat, we'll go out for breakfast if we're making a day of shopping at the outlets or going somewhere. But that's it. As a rule, I don't bother with breakfast on weekends. During the week at work, I have a cup of coffee and a sliced Granny Smith apple.

I've never been a big fan of breakfast as most of the fun breakfast meals involve eggs, which I'm allergic to. So my breakfast usually consists of a diet coke and a fiber bar, or a diet coke and a bowl of cereal. Once in a while I'll talk DH into making pancakes for us.

I hate carbalicious breakfasts as they never stick around long enough, so I prefer eggs. Omelets, scrambled, soft-boiled, fried, poached, you name it. I love eggs! And bacon and sausage of course. I guess I just enjoy your typical "hearty" breakfast. Although I'm rarely hungry in the mornings, I do try to eat, or else take my food to work so I can eat once I do get hungry.

My breakfast is usually a bananna, V-8 Juice and coffee, and nope it usually doesn't vary on weekends.

Mon. - Fri. I usually have a protein cereal bar, 1/2 cp. of milk to take my vitamins, and a cup of coffee.

Sat. and Sun. - we usually make Swedish pancakes one day and might go out the other day. YUM, swedish pancakes

A Little Debbie peanut butter bar and a cup (or 2) of coffee.
We may go out for breakfast if Dave goes in late, usually something quick like Arby's. On Saturdays I stop by my Mom's to visit with her and my brothers; then it's more coffee and whatever anyone brings or makes (donuts, muffins, quick breads, cookies---geez, I wish it was Saturday )

I try to eat breakfast and I try to get eggs or something because I'm trying to speed up my metabolism. Today I had some sausage...My metabolism is super slow

I seldom eat breakfast. When I do it's a bagel, cream chees, and a glass of V8.

On the weekends I go to brunch a lot with friends so yes, it varies on the weekends.

Great choices. I'm glad you're not choosing carbs in the morning. Your metabolism will get there! Just keep giving it protein and good fat.

That's me. My breakfast is usually a smoothie during the week. Soy Milk + vanilla protein power + whatever I have on hand, usually strawberries (frozen) and banana. YUM

oh and my 2 cups of coffee.

I like eggs too. Occassionally I'll make a batch of hardboiled, and grab one for breakie.... But for the most part, this would be my weekend breakfast minus the meat.

Weekend breakie is a Chris omelete: 1egg + 2 egg whites, mushrooms, and barley.
