Okay, just to make sure I'm doing this right (according to the kitten rescue link here) Bert (13.5 ounces) should be eating 26 cc's of formula 4 times a day? *looks at kitten, looks at how much 26 ounces in and wonders how it will fit*. It's been a while , any help would be appreciated to make sure I'm not overfeeding or underfeeding him (got him this afternoon).

Okay, I got in 20cc's, let him play (he's definitely perking up -*zingy!!*), he peed, he pooped, he got his rear end washed , I got 4 more cc's in him, and he was ready to sleep, so I quit. He's curled up on his "hot hands" pillow, he's got a little water and a little canned food...finally, bed for us both . And up to do it again in 6 hours...*groan*.

Well, now I know why he wasn't so hot on feeding... he came down with a stuffy nose last night. Took him to the vet today and he's on Clavamox for a week . The syringe feeding continues...if you happen to read this and would, please say a prayer for little Burt .

20 cc's seems to be all he wants at a time, I think I'll start adding the last 6 in as a snack about an hour after he eats, and see if that does the trick.
